Last Night After Stations of The Cross a Man With Too Much Hair On His Face REached to Grab Me!

Amazing how some people think that their position in life...that is their occupation and sometimes their past reputation gives them the right to stretch forth their arms to anothers wife...

Meeting and greeting...but ignoring their husbands....

When I was a child growing up at 3909 Haring Road in Metairie Louisiana...
The husband father of the "Manning" family accross the street was a lawyer/attorney and his sons were worse than just mischevious...

I recall they used to throw much more than just sticks but even bricks at my brothers and I when playing ball or even hopscotch.

Once when I ran in and told my Dad that Terry Manning and his brothers were throwing dirt and stones at us again...

My father got a broom and dust pan and told Albert Puente & I to go inside my fathers house.

We watched through the window...
See Terry Manning and his brothers always yelled:  "My Dad's a lawyer so we can do anything we want!"

Dad walked to Mr. Attorney Mannings new car and dumped the dirt and stones all over his interior...
Tough guy Attorney Manning came running stomping outside:

"HEY CARROLL...you put dirt in my car???"
"I was just returning it my Dad said."

He threatened my father with court like no differnt than his terribly behaved young sons.

And my father said:  "Okay...I will see you there...In Court!"

It may not have been precisely that way...keep in mind I am retelling a true story that happened before even 1970...maybe 1972!

But see we were small children then.
And though we had not many friends...

The only real friend indeed we need is our Lord & HIS Holy Word to defend us and protect us from all false acusations.

And certainly Mr Manning did not take my father to court but rather sold his house & moved out of the neighborhood for even the wicked recognize when they are about to be trapped within the noose they tied to slay us.

For if he did take my father to court...my father simply would have shown pictures of all the abuses of the Manning boys from abuses in the neighborhood to pushing me down stairs in school...

Might even have dragged  Mrs Gilmore & Mr DeMico...disciplinarian & principal of the school into the ring with judge order to appear

And Jesus Himself would have been our justification...as HE always is!

So...why do these thugs today...are stupid enough to go to Stations of The Cross before approaching and grabbing for another's wife?

For his recompense will not be of value..
Just as scripture says..while they strike our heels....When the Lord is ready to render justice...
HIS just punishment will be far greater than any human court can order or sentence upon conviction...

So...

REGARDLESS WHATEVER HAPPENS ON ANY GIVEN DAY... OUR LORD KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN LONG BEFORE WE WERE EVEN BORN... SO RELAX and LET HIM TAKE CARE OF ALL THINGS FOR US AND THROUGH US; FOR HIS WAY HE HAS ALREADY PLANNED WILL BE BETTER THAN ANYTHING WE COULD DO!!!!

And praise & sing to Him glad tidings that HE is always with us and never uses "Voice Mail!" 

So always be grateful that VENGENCE is always HIS...and vindication by & through HIM our gift HE gives us!
